The course
Aim of this course is to simplify and enhance customers due diligence, due diligence requirements on beneficial owners, general knowledge on how to prevent money laundering at your workplace, how to maintain ongoing monitoring and prevent learners from making mistakes at their workplace.
It identifies:
a) Key definitions, background, what is money laundering, key stages of money, money laundering regulations, supervisory authorities, and registered businesses, indicators of money laundering, red flags, low-risk indicators, and assessing risk.
b) Customer identification, acceptable identification, electronic identification, company identification, keeping records, reporting money laundering and level of staff training required.

Money laundering course has been developed for those who works in a business that handles or processes large amounts of money, particularly those businesses where illegally-obtained cash, property or goods could be bought, sold or exchanged.
 
Prerequisites
No prior knowledge needed.
 
How does it work?
Learners are given log in details and simply they can log on to the Learning Management System (LMS) and work their way through the course, along with scenarios relevant to their area of learning. Assessment is carried out on the completion of each module via a series of multiple-choice questions.
 
Certification
