Central Vetting Officer – Sizewell C
We are looking for a dedicated Site Vetting Unit Officer to work with us on an exciting new contract at Sizewell C. As a Site Vetting officer you will fulfil a key role in delivering the industry assurance requirement to have all staff and contractors cleared to at least the Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) before they are set to work unescorted on the contract. You will be responsible for the verification of all security clearance applications submitted by the site so that a clearance decision can be made and a BPSS clearance issued which will eventually lead to the applicant gaining access to the site.
£16.01 p/h working 40 hours per week - office hours
Remuneration package:
Permanent Contract 224 hours (28 days per annum inclusive of bank holidays)

Key Responsibilities:
■ Vetting administration and verification responsibilities for the contract.
■ Focal point for local vetting enquiries.
■ Verification of BPSS vetting casework.
■ Interfaces internally with other vetting team members, training, HR and externally with contractor organisations.
■ Ensuring regulatory requirements for vetting on site are complied with by all staff and contractors.
■ Processing of valid clearance applications according to set Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
■ Ensuring only valid clearance applications are submitted to the Client’s Central Vetting Service.

As a Security Officer at Allied Universal, you are more than a Security Guard.
