Role Overview
As a Relief Security Officer at G4S, you are more than a Security Guard. You’ll ensure the safety of our customers staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. It’s a varied role that includes greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols, conducting searches where required, patrolling the premises and dealing with security incidents. About you
You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key.

You must be flexible and available to work days, nights and weekends, 07:00-19:00 & 19:00-07:00. It is essential that you have some corporate security experience and a valid SIA DS licence.

NIGHT SECURITY OFFICER - LORD'S CRICKET GROUND (FULL-TIME)

We are seeking to recruit an experienced night security guard to join our current team providing year round security at the home of cricket, Lords Cricket Ground, which is a vibrant venue hosting many key cricket games, including Vitality Blast, The Ashes and The Hundred fixtures.

You’ll ensure the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. You will be the first point of contact for both staff and visitors for our client and will be responsible for ensuring that access control is to the highest standard and the protection of the staff and premises is given the highest priority. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

This is a full time, permanent vacancy, working 11 hour NIGHT shifts on a 4 on/ 4 off rotating pattern. There will also be an opportunity to undertake additional shifts, providing holiday and sickness cover, as well as working on event days, with our Event Team.

It’s a varied role that includes;
Gatehouse duties at one of the site entrances
Access control; monitoring pedestrians, vehicles and deliveries entering and leaving the site
Patrolling and logging patrols on a mobile app
Nightly report writing and incident logging
Monitoring the CCTV system (training will be provided)
Alarm activation/deactivation as required
Regular contact with the onsite out of hours management teams

Person specification:
Experience of working in a guarding position with night working preferred
SIA DS Licence is essential
SIA CCTV is desirable
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to speak with people from all backgrounds
Strong initiative and a high level of common sense
Confident and able to deal with any issues in a robust and professional manner
Good standard of IT skills

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join Allied Universal as a Security Relief Officer for one of our key clients. As a Security Relief Officer, you will be expected to cover multiple security posts, such as, Front of House, ACP, etc.

Security experience is desirable but not essential, however, the successful candidate must have excellent customer service and the ability to adapt to an evolving working environment.

Hours & Shifts: Minimum of 14 shifts per month, working between 8-12-hour shifts. You must be
available to work nights only and weekend shifts.

The successful candidate must have a valid SIA DS licence and First Aid.
