New Requirements for SIA Qualifications from 1st Apr 2021
From 1 April 2021, SIA will: • introduce new licence-linked qualifications • require door supervisors and security guards to get the Emergency First Aid at Work qualification before they take their licence-linked training.
We have examined the Lockdown document and FE (Further Education) guidance, contacted our Awarding Body, Highfield today and there are no instructions for us to lockdown from the regulator, Afqual. Based on the above guidelines, people can go out for education. Consequently, we stay open to carry on business as usual until we are told otherwise.
L2 Security Officer Courses through Distance Learning
Our Awarding Body, Highfield’s ‘Qualify at Home’ suite is now being piloted for some of Highfield’s security qualifications, meaning that your learning can be done through remote teaching and learners can qualify from the safety of their home. Consequently, we are soon launching our Online Level 2 Security Officer Courses, fully accredited and approved by the SIA.
Now learning is available for everyone, no matter what their budget is. Consequently, anyone wishing to do a course is able to pay for their training in instalments by booking our courses through Reed’s website. They are allowing course seekers to benefit from a range of flexible payment plans – with absolutely no hidden fees or interest.
Promotion between 1st and 31st May. For those who will spend £30 or more on our online courses, we have included for no extra cost our new Infection Prevention and Control + New COVID-19 Module training to help you fight and prevent the spread of the virus.
