First Aid

Referral Scheme

Q1 What is the SWBM ACADEMY Refer a Friend scheme?

Refer a Friend is a scheme which allows referrers to introduce their friends to SWBM ACADEMY. If your friend books a course with us, we pay you a referral fee of 5% of what your friends order over & over directly into your preferred bank account or apply it as credit towards future bookings with us.

Q2 Can I send referrals to strangers?

NO. If a Referrer sends information to another person via e-mail or any other means of communication, it must meet the general conventions for contacting to friends or family members. Mass mailing, mailing to strangers or any form of action which violates the law or serves commercial purposes, particularly in the form of 'spam', is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate cancellation of the customer account of the Referrer and Unique Referral Number (URN) will be deactivated.

Q3 How do I recommend SWBM ACADEMY?

You can use our online form to register for the scheme. We'll give you a Unique Referral Number (URN) that you can share with your friends. If your friends then visit our website, book a course and upon making a payment use your URN as a reference in the relevant section, following the terms and conditions, you'll be eligible for your reward.

Q4 Can the referrer and the referee be the same person?

No, the referrer (a person who is registered for Refer a Friend scheme) and the referee (a person who is referred by a referrer) cannot be the same person.

Q5 How do we know when your friend has booked a course?

We are able to track your URN and we will send you a reward confirmation via email after your friend (referee) made a purchase and completed their course.

Q6 How will I get my reward and how long will it take?

SWBM ACADEMY 'Refer a Friend Programme’ payouts will be made on monthly basis. The payment will be made directly into Referrer’s preferred bank account within 5 working days of the last day of each calendar month or Referrer can apply it as credit towards future bookings with us.

The BACS method requires you to provide us with both your sort code and account number so that we can transfer your reward directly to your bank account. Please make sure you check your account details that you provide us with, as any errors will of course mean the payment bounces adding a delay to you receiving your money.

Q7 How long does payment take to come through?

Once authorised by our accounts team, the BACS payments normally depend on the bank you are with, as a general rule we normally advise everyone that this can take up to 5 working days. If after 5 working day you have not received payment then please contact us and we will endeavour to resolve the issue.

Q8 Can I send multiple referrals?

Yes. You can share your Unique Referral Number (URN) with as many people as you wish. However, they need to be your friends and/or family members; sending emails to strangers will cause your account’s immediate cancelation.

Q9 Will reward amount or percentage be changed?

The amount or percentage of the SWBM ACADEMY reward for successful referrals can be changed by SWBM ACADEMY at any time without prior notice.

Q10 Can I make referrals using social media?

Yes. As soon as you've registered for the scheme, you can start referring people by using any social media platform you are comfortable with. Please make sure they use your Unique Referral Number (URN) upon purchasing a course.

Q11 Can my referred friend register for the scheme?

Absolutely, anyone who is over 18 can register for the scheme and start earning money.

Q12 Can I use the reward as a discount for a future booking?

Absolutely, we can pay you directly into your preferred bank account or you can apply it as credit towards future bookings with us.

Q13 When 5% reward is allocated to me?

The reward is allocated to you after your friend has booked and completed the course.

Q14 What happens if my friend cancels the booking?

If your friend cancels the booking, you will not receive the reward. However, if your friend makes a new booking with your Unique Referral Number (URN), you will still be eligible for the reward.

Q15 What if I don’t have a bank card to claim my reward?

It is not a problem. You could authorise your friend, family member or anyone you trust to receive your money on your behalf. Your signed payment authorisation form must be received by us before we make any payment to your preferred bank account.

Q16 How and when can I contact SWBM Academy?

You can contact us by phone, email and/or online form.

OR

Q17 My contact details have changed, what do I do?

If you have changed your email address or any of the contact information you have saved as part of your account then you need to notify us immediately via email.

Q18 My bank details have changed, what do I do?

If you have changed your bank details (sort code, account number, account name, etc.) or you would like us to stop paying your rewards to your authorised person’s bank account, then you need to notify us immediately to avoid losing your reward by transferring it to a wrong account.

We accept no responsibility of any money being lost due to lack of your notification prior to the payment. Please email info@swbmacademy.co.uk, this is our dedicated email account for you. It is managed constantly and is the best way for you to get hold of us.

Q19 How can I check the status and balance of my reward?

You will be receiving account statement & updates via email on every referral.

Introduction

The following FAQs apply to the SWBM ACADEMY referral programme. You can also look at the T&Cs for this programme. If you can't find an answer to your question, you can contact us.

Q20 Do I have to send my bank details to SWBM ACADEMY?

No, you will be asked to provide your bank sort code and account number if and when a payment is allocated to you.

Q21 How much discount my friends can receive?

We always have some offers on. However, every single Referrer will receive a special 10% Discount Code for his/her Referees. A special 10% Discount Code allocated to Referrers has no expire date and can be used unlimited times.

Exception: A Discount Coupon allocated to Referrers is only valid when we have no promotion/offers on our courses or if our general promotion/offer is less than a special 10% Discount Code allocated to Referrers.

For instance: If we have 30% DISCOUNT on all our courses for everyone, which is greater than 10% Discount offer, then your friends can enjoy 30% DISCOUNT rather than 10%. However, 10% OFF coupon can be used any other time and it does not have expire date.

Training During COVID-19

Is offered training safe?

Following steps have been implemented to make training safer:

  • We have carried out a COVID19 risk assessment to mitigate all possible risk and relevant guidance will be shared with learners prior attending courses.
  • We have purchased required cleaning, hand-washing and antibacterial products for our classrooms.
  • We have cleaning, hand-washing and hygiene procedures in place to stop the virus spread.
  • Where possible we have online learning in place to minimise face to face training time.
  • Learners will be up to 2 meters away from each other in classrooms.
  • During PI training all learners will be provided with PPE in addition to above hygiene products to manage transmission risk.
  • Training will be scheduled to start and finish after rush-hour to minimise learners’ contact with general public during travelling.
  • As usual next of kin information is collected upon taking a booking to contact them in an emergency.
  • Rubbish will be removed daily and disposed safely.
  • Classrooms will be disinfected at the beginning and the end of each training session.

Pay by Instalment Options

Pay by instalments for training

Now learning is available for everyone, no matter what their budget is. Consequently, anyone wishing to do a course is able to pay for their training in instalments by booking our courses through Reed’s website. They are allowing course seekers to benefit from a range of flexible payment plans – with absolutely no hidden fees or interest.

What is pay by instalments?

Pay by instalments is a flexible payment option that allows consumers to spread the cost of their purchase over a number of months. By providing an alternative way to pay and reducing the need for up-front payments, it makes a vast range of products more affordable for those looking to pay flexibly.

How does it work?

Pay by instalments is a new payment option available for transactions over £50.
It gives students the ability to apply for interest-free credit for up to 12 months, and using it is quick and simple. Monthly instalments can be spread over 3, 6, 9 or 12 months.

Customers who want to pay by instalments can simply select the ‘DivideBuy’ payment option at the checkout on Reed Courses. From there, they’ll complete a quick application process which could enable them to be accepted in just 60 seconds. What’s more, it comes at no extra cost to course seekers or providers.
